Incari and Dynaudio announce a strategic partnership to revolutionize the HMI audio experience

With each new release of our HMI development platform Incari Studio, we work to optimize, improve and extend our tools and features. While the primary features of this release have been widely discussed are a ton of noteworthy secondary features that are worth exploring. This blog post gives you a closer look at some of these extensions and optimizations and how they improve the HMI creation workflow.

Innovative collaboration to combine leading-edge software design and high-quality audio systems for tailored in-car audio experiences at the click of a mouse.

Skanderborg, Denmark; Berlin, Germany – June 12, 2023

Dynaudio, the innovative high-end loudspeaker manufacturer from Denmark, has teamed up with Incari – leader in automotive HMI (Human/Machine Interface) development – to bring top-quality tailored sound experiences to vehicle designers… without the cost and time previously needed to create them.

For over 30 years Dynaudio has been bringing its professional studio and home-speaker expertise to the automotive industry with partners such as Volkswagen, Volvo, Bugatti, BYD, and Xpeng.

Incari Studio is an intuitive development platform for developers, engineers, and designers. By utilizing node-based logic people with all skill levels can easily and intuitively create complex HMIs that focus on creativity and a holistic experience.

The partnership between Dynaudio and Incari empowers HMI developers to redefine in-car audio experiences. With Dynaudio’s smart amplifiers and Incari Studio’s control capabilities, a new horizon of personalized audio profiles and voice control has opened up. The synergistic integration within vehicle systems paves the way for a holistic entertainment suite, adaptive to real-time conditions such as luggage load, seat positions, and environmental noises. With potential enhancements from emergent technologies like Artificial Intelligence, the partnership promises continual innovation.

Trust in the system

The flexibility of car HMI configuration, often executed under stringent deadlines, demands trusted, streamlined solutions. The Dynaudio-Incari partnership eliminates complexity, providing a drag-and-drop system adaptable to specific model requirements without coding. Additionally, empowering vehicle manufacturers to sculpt their brand’s distinct persona and establish unique selling propositions, all while significantly reducing design-stage costs.

“Our partnership celebrates a shared focus on quality, innovation, and user-centered design that heralds an era of joint advancements. By integrating Dynaudio’s superior audio technology into our platform, we’re empowering users to incorporate Europe’s finest audio components into their HMI systems seamlessly,” says Alexander Grasse, Chief Sales Officer at Incari.

“Incari Studio’s modular architecture supports the entire UI-UX creation process, making interaction with sound a direct component of the car’s overall driving experience. For manufacturers, it means the topic of audio is almost automatically integrated directly into a new vehicle’s conception. And that means drastically reduced development time and cost, combined with tailored systems… and, of course, Dynaudio’s legendary performance from the amplifier and loudspeakers,” says Eike Peter Frost, Director, Automotive Business Development at Dynaudio.

The Dynaudio-Incari partnership will be unveiled at this year’s Car HMI Europe show in Berlin, from June 18-20. Incari will be showing its immersive demonstrator – which mimics a car interior to demonstrate the next generation of in-car experiences. A Dynaudio API implemented into Incari Studio will be released later this year.
