During the filming of the December episode of Vintage Mecanic, we had the opportunity to breathe new life into a legendary Renault 5 GTL together with our partners. At the same time, we took the chance to introduce our “HALF Eden” demonstrator to moderator and French TV personality François Allain.
The HALF (Helpful-Affordable-Local-Fun) demonstrator was first presented at the recent Viva Technology in Paris. Developed in Antibes in collaboration with Incari Labs, L2concept, 2cv Mehari Club Cassis, and Sophia Antipolis, it sets new standards for connected, intuitive vehicle interiors, integrated into the iconic Mehari Eden.
The HALF Eden showcases the mobility of tomorrow and promises to turn every journey into a unique and personalized experience, tailored to the needs and desires of each driver and passenger.
- The front face and headlights of the HALF Eden are replaced by a dot matrix screen. This screen comes to life through embedded AI technologies, with the headlights transforming into expressive eyes that change their expressions based on interactions with occupants and passersby.
- The core of the system is an innovative steering wheel with an integrated smartphone, a vertical central touchscreen on the dashboard, and a long display strip running across the dashboard to the base of the windshield.
Incari played a key role in the development by enabling the intuitive and seamless integration of all functions and animations via Incari Studio, all through a single user interface. This technology not only ensures modern design but also introduces a completely new form of vehicle interaction that revolutionizes the driving experience. The project was completed with Incari Studio in less than 2 months.
